The Role
As the Senior Email Strategist, you will own strategy development, execution oversight, and client communication for multiple fast-growing e-commerce brands.
Your focus will be purely on strategic excellence, performance, and client success—working together with a Project Manager focused on the project management tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop high-impact email and lifecycle marketing strategies aligned with client goals
- Own segmentation, automation architecture, and campaign planning
- Create detailed content calendars and strategic direction (copy/design executed by our team)
Lead A/B testing strategy and implement optimizations
- Bring forward world-class ideas based on industry trends and performance insights
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Track and analyze email performance, revenue attribution, and ROI
- Build data-driven insights and clear next steps for weekly & monthly reporting
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth, retention improvements, and increased LTV
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary strategist and expert partner for 5–8 clients
- Communicate progress, insights, and strategic recommendations
- Conduct client calls, answer questions, and maintain trusted relationships
- Identify upsell opportunities when relevant
Project Management & Execution Oversight
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, and implementation specialists
- Ensure deliverables meet strategic goals and deadlines
- Collaborate with PMs to maintain smooth workflow and efficient execution
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Client Load: Successfully owning strategy for 5–8 clients at a time
- ROI: Ensuring clients achieve a minimum 5x ROI
- Strategic Excellence: Proactively leading clients with strong insights, ideas, and data-driven recommendations
