A consulting firm in Brazil is seeking a skilled engineer to support their microservices e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will manage Kubernetes deployments, handle CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and collaborate with development teams skilled in Java and Python. Responsibilities include troubleshooting ecosystem tools, analyzing logs with Grafana and ELK, and participating in English-speaking client meetings. Support the development team responsible for translating and adapting a distributed microservices e-commerce platform.
Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes microservice deployments using Helm charts.
Operate and maintain Jenkins CI / CD pipelines; diagnose and resolve failures in automated deployment processes.
Collaborate closely with Java and Python development teams to understand deployment requirements.
Troubleshoot client ecosystem tools based on Jenkins self‑service pipelines.
Support backend technologies such as PostgreSQL and Kafka, handling configuration, connectivity, and integration issues.
Retrieve and analyze logs from Kubernetes pods and on‑prem VMs using Grafana, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Jenkins logs.
Participate in English‑speaking client meetings to gather requirements, clarify needs, and provide updates.
Manage work using a Kanban workflow.
Contribute to improvements in deployment processes, documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting procedures.
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and containerized deployments in on‑premise environments.
Strong understanding of CI / CD pipelines, especially Jenkins.
Basic to intermediate experience with microservices written in Java and Python.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Kafka.
Ability to diagnose distributed system issues using logs, dashboards, and monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK, etc.).
Experience with on‑premises infrastructure.
Strong communication skills with the ability to participate confidently in English‑speaking client meetings.
Experience with Agile / Kanban methodologies.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in complex environments.
Proven experience troubleshooting legacy systems built in Java.
Experience with large enterprise e‑commerce platforms.
Knowledge of networking, authentication, and authorization concepts.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
Experience with Groovy for Jenkins Pipeline‑as‑Code.
