Your work will focus on the back-end data pipeline and analytics stack, building a range of features and data services from exploratory prototypes to robust, production-ready implementations. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the back-end data pipeline and analytics stack.
- Develop a range of features and data services from exploratory prototypes to robust production implementations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver AI-powered analytics that reduce carbon footprint in industrial manufacturing.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data science, applied analytics, or adjacent roles.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Computational Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Proven ability to work across unfamiliar data domains and quickly build understanding.
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing data (energy, process, or climate-related) is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience writing production-quality code.
- Proven data analysis and statistics foundation—able to recognize what makes a “good” analysis even if the AI is doing the heavy lifting.
- Experience designing dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights effectively.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-framing, and hypothesis-driven analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with a talent for data storytelling.
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to adapt quickly to new problem spaces.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, startup-style environments.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with modern AI/LLM tools and workflows.
- Prior experience configuring or extending agent-based or automated analytics systems.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and data engineering concepts.
- Understanding of manufacturing and/or energy-related industrial challenges.
