A growing accounting firm is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, strong proficiency in QuickBooks, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles. Responsibilities include managing financial records for clients, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. This is a fully remote position that offers the chance to work independently as well as collaborate with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize QuickBooks to prepare and maintain accurate financial records for our clients.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients, including bank reconciliations, data entry, and payroll processing.
• Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
• Monitor and analyze expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements for client review and analysis.
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to clients to support their decision‑making processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of client financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in accounting or related field.
• 10+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
