A global materials trading company is seeking a Trader to oversee raw materials trading in South America from their São Paulo office. The successful candidate will drive trading activities, develop partnerships, manage risks, and easily work with diverse teams. Candidates should have significant experience in commodity trading, strong negotiation skills, and be open to relocating to São Paulo. Qualificações

• Several years of experience in commodity trading of raw materials, ideally minerals, iron ore, manganese ore, metals and alloys.
• Excellent market knowledge and an existing network of industry contacts.
• Strong intercultural skills and proven negotiation expertise.
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills; additional languages are beneficial.
• Willingness to relocate to Sao Paulo and thrive in a multicultural environment.

We are looking for a self-driven, entrepreneurial Trader to lead our raw materials trading activities in South America from our Sao Paulo Office in Brazil.

• Drive and develop trading activities in raw material exports from South America
• Develop strong supplier and customer networks, identify new business opportunities, and manage commercial negotiations
• Manage trading risks such as credit exposure, market volatility, and supply disruptions
• Collaborate internationally with our global trading teams and management to align strategy and growth initiatives
• Always adhere to country-specific and company-internal compliance requirements as well as legal regulations

• Several years of experience in commodity trading of raw materials, ideally minerals, iron ore, manganese ore, metals and alloys or related commodities
• Excellent market knowledge, an existing network of industry contacts and knowledge of country-specific market regulations
• Strong intercultural skills and proven negotiation expertise
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and develop structures
• Excellent written and spoken English skills - additional language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to relocate to Sao Paulo and thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced environment
