JOB OVERVIEW
The Brazil Quality Director is responsible for the quality of all Coty production in Brazil and serves as a key senior leader accountable for end-to-end quality across the product lifecycle, from design to consumer.
The role oversees quality standards, GMP compliance for all markets served, incident management, new product introductions, vendor quality, non-conforming products, and the delivery of right-first-time results, ensuring product quality from manufacturing through delivery to customers and consumers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analize current end to end process from development to production against quality standards;
- Direct Leadership Responsibility for Senador Manufacturing Quality Leader and Goiania DC quality;
- Responsibility for Product Disposition within Brazil;
- Responsible for Brazil Quality KPI’s;
- Define and lead the Quality strategy for Brazil;
- Responsible for Compliance of the Brazilian sites / TPMs and its product and the markets that it produces for;
- Responsible for the Quality Capability development of the Site QA Leader and QA Teams in the various technical areas eg Raw Materials, Packaging, Bulk, Finished Goods and all aspects of Quality Control and including Quality Assurance;
- Responsibility to ensure compliance of the sites to the relevant GMP Standards (RDC 48 / 2013, ISO 22716 : 2007);
- Follow up and ensure resulting actions from the various QA processes are driven to a conclusion and that those conclusions are institutionalized;
- End to End Quality Ownership for Brazilian products;
- Key KPI’s – Compliance, Quality Alerts and Incidents, Right First Time, Defects, Consumer and Customer Complaints, Initiative Right First Time and Cost of Quality;
- Responsible for the Industrialization of new products;
Strong Partnership with other functions for delivery of key results including R&D, Marketing, Procurement, etc.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Biology, Medicine Pharmacy, Food, Public Health or Legal science or equivalen;
- Must know Brazilian Cosmetic Regulations RDC 48 / 2013;
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of Cosmetic Production or Quality Experience;
- Operational experience within Supply Chain Manufacturing Sites;
- Must have a background as a Quality Manager of a Production Facility;
- Excellent communicator, being able to translate complex problems into clear solutions with strong Corrective and Preventative Actions and communicate this internally and externally as required;
- Strong influencing skills to be the “voice” of the Consumer to the business;
- Attention to the details, but with the ability to delegate and supervise;
- Strong systemic approach to work to ensure that issues are fixed for good and willingness to escape, confront and correct even the most Senior of leadership;
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
