What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead a team to generate sales revenue by promoting the employer's products and services to targeted accounts
  • Provide coaching and training to sales representatives on selling strategies

  • Maintain and strengthen existing business relationships with customers
  • Track and analyze sales performance and report on activities using CRM tools
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience selling into State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading successful sales teams
  • Strong financial acumen and demonstrated success in achieving sales goals
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Understanding of industry trends, cloud connectivity solutions, and infrastructure as a service
  • Experience selling dark fiber and wavelength solutions
  • Ability to present to executive-level audiences and build confidence with senior decision-makers
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
