Amazon is seeking a smart, self-motivated and creative PR Manager to lead our growing Devices and Services business in Brazil.
As PR owner of Amazon Devices for Brazil, you will lead the proactive communication for Echo, Alexa, Kindle, Fire TV, and more.
You will collaborate daily with PR, business and external agency teams to imagine, develop and execute PR programs designed to enhance the reputation and drive preference for Alexa and Amazon Devices.
You will act as a key advisor to PR colleagues and business partners, and support global PR campaigns taking into consideration cultural nuances.
You must have high-judgment, excellent communication skills, exemplary writing ability, exceptional initiative, and a talent for effectively managing projects.
You will also have experience of working to high standards under tight deadlines, and be flexible in managing ambiguity as priorities change.
A strong track record of working with major brands on major campaigns is essential, alongside a high level of creativity and extensive experience in dealing with consumer technology media contacts and news desks.
You will discuss communication strategies with key stakeholders across many teams, including other PR colleagues across the globe and the business teams.
You will assess risks for Amazon Devices reputation and recommend plans to mitigate them.
You will be asked to review and approve parter announcements, customer service escalations, among other external facing documents to make sure they are clear to customers, while seeking consistency on messaging about Amazon Devices & Alexa.
You will work closely to a PR agency to develop and execute plans and reports.
You will be part of the Devices & Services Americas PR team, reporting to the Sr.
PR Manager for Americas, which is part of the International Devices & Services PR team.
You will have the opportunity of interacting with people in different geographies, learning from and sharing with them your achievements.
All Devices and Alexa customers are your customers and you should always work backwards from their needs and concerns.
Internal customers are the internal teams leading product, marketing and other activities related to how we market Amazon Devices & Alexa in Brazil.
