Responsibilities and assignments

You will be responsible for class teaching, content preparation and student management in school environments following RED HOUSE's pedagogical plan:

  • Teach classes and support student learning based on the Red House pedagogical plan and individual needs.
  • Understand the school’s Pedagogical Proposal, approach, and learning expectations for the grade.
  • Monitor student progress, collect evidence, and plan actions to support learning.
  • Develop strategies with the coordination team to improve engagement and performance.
  • Provide differentiated instruction and prepare adaptations for students with learning or special educational needs.
  • Ensure student safety and well‑being during all school activities.
  • Communicate relevant student behaviors, progress, and incidents to the coordination team and families when required.
  • Prepare weekly lesson plans, review them regularly, and submit materials within deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate student records and follow all Red House guidelines and policies.
  • Offer constructive feedback to students and collaborate with other teachers.
  • Guide and support the Teaching Assistant as needed.
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain an organized classroom environment and take care of learning materials.
  • Perform related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements and qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry Education

Experience:

  • Two years of experience teaching High School (preferred)
  • Classroom management

Languages: Proficiency in English
