A leading technology firm in Brazil is seeking an experienced backend developer to design and maintain critical backend services. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in Core Framework development and solid knowledge of software engineering principles. The ideal candidate should have experience with Azure DevOps and be fluent in English. Work will follow a hybrid model in São Paulo, blending onsite days with remote work.

Tasks

• Design develop and maintain backend services and APIs Core / .NET Framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders business analysts and QA engineers
• Implement solutions that support electronic trading flows and fixed income instruments
• Ensure system reliability scalability and performance in a high-demand environment
• Participate in code reviews technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Manage CI / CD pipelines and deployments using Azure DevOps
• Work closely with global teams in a hybrid agile environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production systems

Requirements

• 5 years of experience Core Framework development
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming
• Experience with Azure DevOps for build release and deployment pipelines
• Previous experience working in banking financial services or electronic trading platforms
• Knowledge of fixed income products (bonds treasuries etc.)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs microservices and cloud-based architectures
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory

Nice to Have

• Experience with messaging systems (e.g. Kafka RabbitMQ)
• Exposure to FIX protocol or trading APIs
• Experience working in regulated environments or financial compliance contexts

Hybrid model : Work onsite in São Paulo a few days per week
