The marketing manager supports Lubrizol by developing and executing regional marketing strategies and campaigns that align with commercial, strategic marketing and sales teams to drive business growth.

This role acts as a functional partner to regional commercial, strategic marketing and sales teams and collaborates closely to ensure marketing efforts support business objectives.

This position is based reports to the Director of LSS Marketing (Lubrizol Surface Sciences).

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of regional marketing plans across business unit segments, ensuring alignment with global strategy and local market dynamics.

Develop and manage the regional marketing budget in accordance with guidance set by finance and the strategic planning process.

Ensure budget aligns with strategic priorities and deliverables measurable ROI.

Own and execute regional marketing strategy, including coatings, beauty, home, pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals.

Focus on driving awareness, engagement, and growth.

Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, trade media, and events.

Ensure messaging is consistent, localized, and performance-driven.

Engage and manage outside agency partners to support key campaigns or other initiatives.

Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, assessing performance against goals, costs per outcome and insights that can be applied to future programming.

Identify gaps in sales tools, create new marketing assets and support maintenance of existing marketing collateral (including presentations, literature and digital assets).

Strategically evaluate and manage regional events and trade shows.

Ensure alignment with business goals and measure ROI for future planning.

CRM champion : drive adoption, ensure data quality, and leverage insights to measure marketing impact and inform strategy.

Coordinate with regional counterparts to ensure aligned strategies and sharing of best practices.

Provide One Lubrizol marketing support for key events & initiatives.

Education, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Bachelors in marketing, communications, or equivalent from an accredited university or a technical discipline with marketing focus, or relevant equivalent experience.

7+ years of experience in marketing communications and project management in a B2B or B2B2C environment.

Fluent in English and proven ability to work across cultures and time zones.

Experience building and executing traditional and digital marcom plans (within budget) that drive business results.

Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with internal and external stakeholders and building outstanding customer relationships.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Must be able to influence cross-functional teams, present ideas clearly to diverse audiences and translate technical content into compelling marketing messaging.

Strong writing skills across communications media, including ability to translate technical content into marketing messaging.

Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices and trends and the ability to develop and influence new marketing concepts and techniques.

Able to effectively manage a variety of projects and timelines simultaneously.

Ability to travel (up to 20%).
