Job Description:

Lead UX Strategist & Research Analyst
About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead UX Strategist & Research Analyst to guide research-driven decision-making for enterprise marketing website projects. This is not a product UX role — it’s a strategic position focused on user insight, information architecture, content strategy, and low-fidelity wireframing for B2B website design specifically.

You will run discovery activities, analyze user behavior, shape content and navigation strategy, and translate research into clear wireframes and recommendations. You’ll also lead client conversations and present UX rationale with confidence and clarity. This is a freelance contract position with consistent, ongoing project work.

Responsibilities
UX Research & Analysis
  • Plan and lead UX research activities (qualitative + quantitative) tailored to marketing / enterprise sites
  • Analyze user behavior, testing outputs, and analytics data (GA, Hotjar, Helio, etc.)
  • Identify friction points and conversion blockers across user journeys
  • Conduct competitive and comparative audits to inform structure and content direction
  • Synthesize insights into clear, prioritized, actionable UX recommendations
Information Architecture & Content Strategy
  • Audit existing website structures and perform detailed site map analysis
  • Develop and present site map recommendations that improve clarity, SEO alignment, and user flow
  • Create navigation models, content hierarchies, and IA documentation
  • Map user journeys and define key conversion paths
  • Build content frameworks and messaging priorities for enterprise web builds
  • Evaluate existing content for gaps, redundancy, clarity, and strategic alignment
Wireframing & Concepting
  • Translate IA and strategy decisions into low-fidelity wireframes
  • Produce clear UX documentation (flows, diagrams, wireframes, rationale)
  • Collaborate closely with designers to ensure strategic alignment through execution
Client Leadership
  • Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and UX debriefs
  • Present research findings and guide stakeholders toward best-practice decisions
  • Communicate fluently and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Build trust through structured thinking, preparedness, and strong strategic reasoning
Requirements
  • 5–6+ years of experience in UX research, UX strategy, IA, or content design for websites
  • Deep understanding of enterprise marketing sites (not product UX)
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and analyze UX research
  • Strong command of information architecture and content strategy
  • Ability to design clear, low-fi wireframes that translate strategy into structure
  • Excellent English communication skills and confidence leading client conversations
Ability to work independently across multiple projects
  • Proficiency with Figma, Helio, UserBrain, Hotjar, PostHog, Google Analytics, or equivalent tools
Nice to Have
  • Agency experience
  • CRO or SEO fluency
  • Familiarity with Webflow CMS structures
  • Experience with enterprise clients and multi-stakeholder environments
Contract Details
  • Freelance contract position
  • Remote, flexible hours
  • Must be available for client meetings within EU / US time zones
