Job Title: Business Development, Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS)

RESPONSIBILITY:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy storage in utility application sector for Brazil and LATAM countries.
- Conduct research and analyze region market insight including product technology, application trend, government policy, build and strengthen the relationships with key accounts, responsible from project lead to cash process.
Revenue Growth in Key Markets:
- Formulate South American key account revenue plans, drive sales expansion in customer located in geographies, especially among utilities application sectors to meet KPIs.
- Deeply understand customer requirements and craft tailored solutions to address.
- Record and manage business opportunities, contracts, and developmental status in company CRM system.
Strategic Key Account Relationship Building and Management
- Cultivate a network comprising project utilities, investors, developers, IPPs, EPC s, and other important stakeholders.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication prowess to earn trust and establish credibility with decision-makers.
- Oversee all facets of customer management, from acquisition and recommendations to relationship nurturing, contract discussions, and overall support.

- Min bachelor’s degree or 2 years plus of utility BESS sales experience.

- Efficient communicate between external and internal teams, especially between LATAM regions and HQ in China.

Role and Career Opportunities
- In the first 6 months you will be in our London Office being trained by our leadership team.
- Initially, you will focus on candidate research and recruitment. After six months, you will be allocated to a line of business, allowing you to become a specialist recruiter within that field. Training that is specific to the line of business will allow you to master your ability to converse confidently with client and internal specialists.
- After a period of between 12-18 months, you can expect to begin your move into client‑facing sales. You will be allocated a small number of clients specific to your line of business, beginning your journey with client research, leading into full client engagement if the client is approved as a target.
- Once you have closed deals with clients (bringing master services agreements between the client and Phi), you will begin to generate P&L. Subject to competency and revenue targets, you will complete your move into sales. We expect this phase to take between 18-24 months, and you will be supported on your journey by more senior sales leads, a deal architecture / pre‑sales team, and the subject‑matter‑experts from within the delivery teams.
- As a fully‑fledged sales consultant, you will be part of a smaller group of 10, that are some of the best in the world. You will manage your client portfolio and may be given an expanded scope of clients giving you the room to really become a true success. Depending on results, you may be allocated one or two strategic key accounts, with the greatest potential for growth. These accounts are global, and relevant for multiple lines of business. They will bring a large portfolio, driving significant P&L and earnings.
