A leading international organization is seeking an IT Architect to oversee application architecture and systems integration. The role requires expertise in middleware and messaging platforms, alongside strong communication skills to collaborate in a multicultural setting. Candidates should be proficient in French and English, with a notable ability to produce clear technical documentation and partake in multilingual meetings.
Following tasks, amongst others, will be performed by the selected candidate:
• Install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot application architecture.
• Manage complex architecture and integrate heterogeneous systems to it.
• Architecture and design of information systems
• Review of the architecture of existing systems
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks (back-end/front-end)
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems
• Data analysis and data modelling
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
• Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
• Production of software architecture documents
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting
• Implementation and development of key features.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:
• Good knowledge of Middleware systems (e.g. Weblogic Application Server, Oracle Service Bus).
• Good knowledge of messaging services and platforms (e.g. Java Message Service, Apache Kafka).
• Good knowledge of JEE.
• Good knowledge of Angular and eUI.
• Good knowledge in Akoma Ntoso: simple technology-neutral electronic representations in XML format of parliamentary, legislative and judiciary documents.
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Good Analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to apply high quality standards.
• Proven ability to write clear and structured technical documents
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:
• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
• Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
• Excellent Team Player
• Ability to understand, speak and write French and English (B2 level for both) will be an advantage;
