Este profissional deve ter graduação em Ciência da Computação e fluência em inglês. O trabalho é remoto e requer conhecimentos em ambientes Windows e Linux, além de ferramentas de virtualização como VMware e Hyper-V. Os candidatos devem apresentar experiência em automação e gerenciamento de servidores.

Qualificações

• Fluência em inglês, obrigatório.
• Experiência sólida em suporte a servidores, preferencialmente Windows Server.
• Conhecimento em ambientes virtuais VMware e Hyper-V.
• Experiência em soluções de backup corporativo.
• Conhecimento em administração de servidores Linux.

Responsabilidades

• Pesquisar e recomendar hardware e software.
• Fornecer suporte a servidores corporativos em ambientes híbridos e de nuvem.
• Projetar e configurar servidores e ambientes de armazenamento.
• Assistir na resolução de problemas de conectividade e desempenho.
• Gerenciar processos definidos de TI, incluindo SDLC.

Summary of position and objectives

The IT Infrastructure System Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, installing, maintaining, and upgrading the company’s infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage, backups, and disaster recovery planning. This role is strategic in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of corporate environments — whether on Windows or Linux platforms, depending on the professional’s technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software such as servers, storage solutions (SAN/NAS), and backup software.
• Provide support for corporate servers in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Design, configure, and upgrade server and storage environments.
• Assist in advanced troubleshooting, backup, and archiving solutions.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve connectivity, reliability, or performance issues.
• Work within and help manage defined IT processes and procedures, including the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
• Work independently, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making ability.
• Consult with senior colleagues on medium to high-complexity projects.
• Assist in overseeing key activities of individual contributors, ensuring task completion and achievement of departmental goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience
• Fluent English (spoken and written) required.
• Experience and Technical Knowledge
• Solid experience in server support, preferably Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025.
• Experience in managing virtual environments (VMware and Hyper-V).
• Hands-on experience in managing, designing, configuring, and upgrading backup solutions.
• Extensive experience in managing, designing, configuring, and upgrading storage solutions.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange environments.
• Experience supporting Linux servers.
• Experience in automated corporate patch management and software deployment.
• Knowledge and application of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Prior experience in reference laboratories or regulated/controlled environments.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell or Python).
• Experience with automation platforms (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Experience with Active Directory, domain management, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Experience with Windows Deployment Services.
• Knowledge of reference laboratory operations and processes is a plus.
• High level of proficiency in PC software tools, including the MS Office suite and project management tools (MS Project is an advantage).
