Job Overview

The HSES Tech provides administrative & technical support to project HSE leads in realizing various client mandated project requirements and MDR HSES Management systems.

Essential Qualifications and Education
  • Diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Two – three (2-3) years of relevant experience.
  • Maintain key competencies associated with the HSES function.
  • Have experience with technical activities, including on and offshore operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good oral and written communication skills (English).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations.
  • Ability to use best practices and knowledge of internal / external business issues to improve products or services in own discipline.
  • Proven experience promoting teamwork, coaching, and guiding others
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to incident investigation and analysis software preferred
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Gathering project weekly and monthly HSES performance statistics from project perimeter.
  • Submitting the project HSES performance with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintaining project HSES performance in INTELEX.
  • Conducting office and site HSES inspections.
  • Follow up with project personnel for the HSES actions assigned to them.
  • Implement the HSES activity plan and ensure activities are completed as scheduled.
  • Maintaining project deliverable in the project share point.
  • Submission and follow up with Document Control the project HSES documents.
  • Rolling out business line & project HSES campaign in the project perimeter.
  • HSES procurement initiation and follow up of the delivery to respective stakeholder.
  • Assist with incident investigations and compilation of reports.
  • Regularly inspect the work areas to identify unsafe acts or conditions. Participate in office & other inspections as advised by HSES leads
  • Observe work groups and provide guidance and coaching to personnel to perform work safely.
  • Assist in the delivery and observation of toolbox talks and Task Risk Assessments (TRA’s).
  • Observe the condition of plant and equipment and report deficiencies.
  • Organise, coordinate and conduct HSES drills (site / office)
  • Assist with emergency evacuations and respond to emergencies as required.
  • Conduct compliance evaluations of equipment, structures, and work in progress to ensure that regulatory environmental, safety, and health standards of the company and all applicable codes are followed.
  • Serve as a resource to develop and administer a proactive prevention program for incidents
  • Provide technical assistance to ensure compliance with applicable international, federal, state, and company environmental, safety, and health regulations.
  • Conversant with local and international HSES laws, codes, and regulations.
