Overview
The Home Study and Post Release Team Lead (HS/PR Team Lead) oversees the Home Study and Post Release case managers in North and South Carolina LSC operations. This position develops and cultivates resources to support and expand program services; guides staff in prioritizing service delivery tasks to endure contractual compliance, timely delivery of core services, proper reporting, and to ensure that the needs of the most vulnerable clients are addressed. Parameters of service provision are determined by funders of the program (Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and Lutheran Services Carolinas (LSC).
Must live in North Carolina or South Carolina. Must be fluent in Spanish.
Essential Functions
- Oversee daily operations of the immigrant services team, providing guidance, leadership, and direct support in all aspects of service provision.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, supervision, and training of immigrant services team members.
- Assist case managers by providing case management in times of staffing crisis or high arrivals/placements.
- Assist with compliance with all reporting requirements as requested by ORR and LSC and ensure HIPAA guidelines in service delivery and case documentation.
- Actively participate in all meetings, calls, and trainings.
- Remain abreast of policy and procedure changes initiated by the contractor, ORR, or LSC. Maintain policy and procedure files and immediately share updates with immigrant services staff.
- Ensure timely delivery of all home study and post-release case reports.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Immigrant Services Program Director on the status of the programs, clients, outcomes, and provide timely reports on any management and contract compliance issues.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, co-sponsors, volunteers, local providers, and organizations.
- Cultivate a culture of teamwork and leadership development.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required in social work or a related field.
Experience: 3 years of case management experience or 1 year experience with Master’s degree. Administration, management, and supervisory experience are highly preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- This is a home-based position. Working in front of a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, and reach overhead.
- Ambulatory through all areas.
- Travel within NC and SC will be required as necessary for supervision, case management, meetings and/or trainings.
