Role

As Tax Analyst – Brazil, you will be responsible for:

  • Determine and minimize the company's worldwide tax liability with the highest integrity while complying with worldwide tax laws. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.
  • Execute the tax compliance of indirect and direct tax of assigned legal entities/countries (ICMS, DIFAL, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, and Local WHT, etc.) and its respective tax fillings, Complex or big volume of transactions.
  • Execute the necessary accounting adjustments to ensure filled tax position matches with tax balance sheet (Account reconciliation).
  • Fulfill tax trackers to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
  • File Tax Asset Monetization with support of Regional Tax Team.
  • Liaise and work collaboratively with broader tax organization and finance organization to ensure any changes in taxes are recognized in ERPs and tax filing is updated.
  • Pro-active seek for process improvement and automation.
  • Support all other ad hoc projects as and when they arise.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 yrs experience in Brazil Taxation compliance; In-house multinational or Big4;
  • Must be fluent in Portuguese and be able to conduct a conversation in English, when in charge of Brazilian jurisdiction.
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, OneSource and Blackline will be considered a plus.
