Eaton's lookin for a Account Manager to work at our Electrical sector division and attend our national clients, traveling from 50% to 75% of the time. This position is based in our office in São Paulo and also requires visit to our plant in Porto Feliz.

What you'll do

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Account Manager (Sales Engineer) must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • A. Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations;
  • B. Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc;
  • C. Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs;
  • D. Visiting customers to fulfill the Profit Plan, respecting the expenses budget. Always respecting Eaton values and working as Ethical bases;
  • E. Establishing new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers;
  • F. Managing and interpreting customer requirements;
  • G. Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs;
  • H. Responsible for Technical Support to Customers - Automations, Low and Medium Voltage Assemblies, Low and Medium Voltage Components.
  • I. Preparing reports for head office;
  • J. Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
  • K. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
  • L. Contribute with EHS metrics that were established of the area/function/factory in accordance with the deployment realized.
  • M. Be compliance with EHS and quality policy in accordance with trainings and communication transmitted for the function.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Automation.
  • Experience in technical sales.
  • Desirable Intermediate English
  • Broad knowledge our products basket and services: Electrical Sector;
  • Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base;
  • Strong business acumen and negotiations skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
