Job Summary

Freelancer Mentor position with Progressive Technology focusing on professional career guidance and resume development. This remote role provides personalized coaching to clients to help enhance career paths, optimize resumes, and prepare for job applications and interviews. A deep understanding of various industries, recruitment processes, and professional development strategies is required. As a freelancer, you will manage your own schedule while delivering high-impact mentoring services that empower individuals to achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one mentorship sessions focusing on career planning, job search strategies, and resume/CV enhancement.
• Assist clients in identifying strengths, skills gaps, and career objectives.
• Review, edit, and optimize resumes and cover letters tailored to specific job roles and industries.
• Offer guidance on interview preparation, including mock interviews and feedback.
• Keep updated with the latest trends in hiring practices and industry requirements.
• Develop customized career development plans for clients to improve employability.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and session outcomes.
• Collaborate with Progressive Technology's team to align mentoring practices with company standards.
• Manage client communications professionally and responsively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in career coaching, HR, recruitment, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of resume writing techniques and ATS-friendly formatting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach.
• Ability to analyze individual client needs and deliver tailored advice.
• Familiarity with diverse industry requirements and job market trends.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible freelance schedule.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in career mentorship, HR consulting, recruitment, or coaching.
• Experience working with diverse clients across different industries and career levels is highly desirable.
• Previous freelance or remote work experience is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours based on client appointments and your availability.
• Primarily remote work; ability to manage your own schedule effectively.
• Availability to conduct sessions during business hours and some evenings or weekends may be required based on client needs.
