Our Finance team plays an essential role in maintaining a healthy balance sheet at AIG.

It delivers significant finance support for the overall enterprise, optimizing operations, controllership, funding, and capital structure to honor our stakeholder commitments.

The team's work is invaluable to informing leadership decision making, complying with regulatory requirements, and maintaining financial discipline, transparency and controls, while providing timely and meaningful information.

How you will create an impact

Responsibilities

• Lead of multiannual budget and monthly forecasts reviews for Underwriting and General Expenses.
• Budget and Forecast track and control, analyzing and understanding variations, anticipating overspend and ensuring actions are taken to keep expenses within approved limits.
• Review comparison of actual results with budget and forecast estimates, preparing appropriate variance explanations and highlighting issues and recommendations.
• Prepare and participate in monthly planning business reviews with finance and the leadership team.
• Create financial forecasts based on solid understanding of GAAP.
• Knowledge of balance sheet and P&L statements.
• Provide senior management and parent company with regular reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations to make informed, data‑driven decisions.
• Responsible for the continuous development and data configuration of the Budgeting, Forecasting, and Modeling tools (SAP Finance Warehouse, SAP Business Planning & Consolidation – BPC).
• Ensure the data quality, analysis and interconnection of the different systems to provide the correct information.
• Conduct ad hoc research and analysis to support a wide range of strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in comprehensive finance services (Accounting, FP&A, Administration).
• Progressive financial analysis and planning experience including corporate FP&A responsibility.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and financial planning software.
• Experience with SAP, Qlik and / or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and planning capabilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• A team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others.

Languages

Portuguese and English are a must, Spanish knowledge a plus.
