The person will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the management of the Bank's Grievance Protocol, coordinating the management of grievances with the members of the Environmental and Social Solutions Division (VPS / ESG) team and other project sector teams.

The ESPF outlines three channels for submitting grievances related to the environmental and social aspects of the Bank's funded projects:

  • (i) a project-level grievance mechanism;
  • (ii) the administration-level grievance mechanism (Grievance Protocol);
  • (iii) the Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI).

Since November, the Bank has developed an internal protocol to provide a direct channel for stakeholders to file a complaint about the environmental and social performance of its projects.

Support the regular updating and management of the Bank's Grievance Protocol system.

Prepare and facilitate the development of dialogue processes in accordance with the Bank's Grievance Protocol, and document them through meeting minutes and other reports.

Develop strategies to maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on providing strategies for resolving grievances.

Prepare periodic reports as required by the Grievance Protocol or by the Bank's administration.

Contribute to identifying trends and lessons learned from grievance management.

Prepare and facilitate training sessions on conflict resolution, as well as dissemination of the Grievance Protocol to both external and internal stakeholders.
