A technology company in Brazil is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the CDX Systems team. You will guide the development efforts behind their client-facing web application, focusing on CI/CD, observability, and technical standards. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in cloud-native infrastructure and proven leadership abilities. This is a remote position that requires effective communication skills in a multicultural environment.
The Engineering Manager for the CDX Systems team will lead the development and evolution of Pismo’s engineering ecosystem behind the Control Center — our client-facing web application. While product squads focus on delivering customer features, this team is responsible for the underlying systems that enable them to build faster, safer, and with higher quality. This includes ownership of CI/CD pipelines, observability standards, integration with complex internal and external services, and the definition of frontend and backend engineering standards adopted across the Control Center organization.
This role requires a leader with strong technical depth and the ability to guide discussions across architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, and application development. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on engineering experience with the communication skills needed to explain complex technical initiatives to cross‑functional stakeholders and advocate for long-term engineering strategy. You will lead a senior team of engineers and help shape the foundation that supports all Control Center development.
Lead and mentor a team focused on engineering productivity, CI/CD, observability, and technical standards for the Control Center.
Hire and develop engineering talent aligned with the team's mission and Pismo’s culture.
Own the technical vision and roadmap for developer infrastructure and platform capabilities supporting all Control Center squads.
Define and evolve engineering standards (frontend, backend, DevOps) that enable consistent, high-quality delivery across teams.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering leaders to ensure the platform enables scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
Drive continuous improvement in pipelines, tooling, system performance, and operational excellence.
Lead integrations with complex external systems and internal services that support the Control Center ecosystem.
Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and impacts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Represent the team and its roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
Proactively identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives that reduce friction, increase developer throughput, and enhance system reliability.
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. #LI-Remote
