Responsibilities
- This position will support the LATAM S&OP volume and demand planning processes by facilitating the development of demand assumption plans, volume balance and will support success through metrics and communications.
- Facilitates the connection product level demand plans.
- Identifies key demand risks and incorporate into contingency planning.
- Ensures consensus is achieved between SPSC, Commercial and Finance.
- Facilitates pre-commercial production planning through End to End guidelines.
- Coordinates the Demand Risk Factor collection at the product level.
- Provide analytical risk factor guidance to Demand Team.
- Increase data collection efficiencies and accuracy through IBP.
- Supports the review of product lifecycles, product counts and inventory utilization.
- Interacts with Product Evaluation Management, Supply Chain, and Finance to develop demand plans and risk factors and align with product line targets.
- Provides comprehensive visibility into volume plans at the product level, involving carry-in, sales, returns, discards, carry over, and reservations.
- Supports inventory management strategies by ensuring alignment on write-downs and surplus activities.
- Aligns production requirements and validate inventory strategies, facilitating accurate data exchange across planning systems (IBP VP, DPART, SPIN).
- Coordinates new crop production requirements with Crop Planners, taking into account planting schedules, field and plant capacities, and relevant decision criteria.
- Supports volume and demand plan success through metrics, communications, and monitoring demand plan to current year sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Ag Business, Business Management, Economics, or equivalent field.
- Strong agricultural background.
- 4 years in ag-related capacity or equivalent education.
- English language full proficiency.
- Spanish language intermediate proficiency.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize work, working under time constraints.
- Detail orientation with an ability to see the broad perspective.
