We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Podean Sales and Analytics team. The primary function of this role is to maintain and develop reports in Tableau, Excel, and Powerpoint with a focus on extrapolating insights related to product performance. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and be capable of engaging directly with clients to present findings and recommendations.

What You’ll Do
  • Reporting: Maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to monitor and analyze product performance metrics.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that impact product performance and business outcomes.
  • Insight Generation: Translate complex data findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for clients.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs, present data insights, and provide expert advice on data-driven decisions.
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align data analysis with business objectives.
  • Documentation: Document reporting processes, methodologies, and insights to ensure consistency and transparency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role, with an emphasis in eCommerce and/or online advertising.
  • A general understanding of BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc. and strong working knowledge of SQL. Familiarity with other data analysis tools and languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data findings clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Proven ability to understand client needs, build relationships, and deliver high-quality service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changing business needs.
Mandatory
  • Excel Proficiency (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Macros, Indexes, etc.)
  • Fluency in SQL (Python/R considered a plus).
  • Direct experience with Data Visualization tools (one or multiple): Tableau, Looker, Power BI, other.
  • Must be able to hold a conversation with internal and external stakeholders explaining highly technical solutions in ways that everyone can understand.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller and/or Vendor Central.
  • Statistical modeling/forecasting (AB Testing, DOE, Regression, Time Series, etc.)
Nice to have
  • Familiar with Amazon Seller or Vendor Central.
  • Familiar with Advertising & Analytics Platforms like AMS, DSP, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Sizmek Suite, AMC, etc.
  • Familiar with databases like Snowflake, Redshift, etc.
