GP Investments is seeking a Corporate Finance Intern for its São Paulo office.

The intern will work with several team members in a collaborative and dynamic environment, gaining exposure to multiple corporate functions (Treasury, FP&A, Investors Relations, Accounting, etc) and learning different research techniques and data analysis tools, which are expected to be applied in a variety of markets and asset classes.

Responsibilities and assignments

Taking part in monthly P&L and cash flow analysis activities and assisting in the forecasting process.

Supporting the analysis of proprietary investments, helping conduct industry and company research, as well as prepare reports.

Assisting with daily cash management, trade executions, settlements and reconciliation of accounts.

Manage documentation for international banking relationships, including new account openings and ongoing compliance forms, while supporting regulatory and KYC obligations for onshore and offshore funds.

Participating in the optimization of financial processes and systems.

Requirements and qualifications

Expected graduation no earlier than December

Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively both independently and in small teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Basic knowledge of financial modelling and presentation development.

Desired Qualifications

Previous experience in Corporate Finance, Real Estate, Private Equity or Equity Research is desirable.
