A leading offshore company in Brazil is seeking a Crane Driver responsible for ensuring safe crane operations and lifting gear maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a recognized qualification in crane operations Level 3, with experience in mobile offshore units. Essential skills include rigging, safety management, and emergency response. Proficiency in English is required, and candidates must be medically fit for offshore work. This position emphasizes a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Qualificações

• Experience in crane operations on mobile offshore units.
• Proficiency in English at a minimum of A2 level according to the CEFR.
• Medically fit according to GEMS Instruction Health Requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure all aspects of crane operations, rigging, and lifting gear maintenance are carried out safely.
• Perform first line maintenance of the crane and lifting equipment.

Background

• The Crane Driver will exhibit a high standard of safety behaviour and will ensure that all aspects of crane operations, rigging, slinging, crane and lifting gear maintenance and operation are carried out safely and effectively

Authority

• The Crane Driver is authorized to operate the crane and lifting equipment and perform first line maintenance

Pre-hire Qualifications and Experience

• Recognized qualification of Competence in Crane Operations. (Level 3).
• Experience in crane operations on mobile offshore units.
• Rigging slinging and general deck experience
• Certification as per STCW Reg A II/4 preferred.
• Proficiency in English at a minimum of A2 level according to the CEFR international standard.
• Medically fit according to The Company GEMS Instruction Health Requirements to Work Offshore.
