JoomPro is the first end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace. We aspire to create a new level of service in the wholesale purchasing market. We give everyone, anywhere in the world, the opportunity to order goods from factories in China easily and efficiently. After a successful launch in Brazil, we are now expanding to Mexico to bring seamless wholesale trade to new markets.

JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international tech-centric group of e-commerce companies founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom Group also includes other businesses: Joom, a platform for global shopping; JoomPulse, a data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers; and Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany. Joom Group has offices in Latvia, China, Portugal, Germany, and Brazil, with its headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal. We work as one international team, sharing knowledge and collaborating across countries, businesses and products.

Right now we are looking for a Country Manager Brazil to lead our local operations and drive exponential GMV growth in this key market.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve exponential GMV growth in the Brazilian market, along with other key commercial metrics growth (contribution margin, NPS, retention rate)
  • Identify and launch new services that add value to Brazilian customers
  • Manage the local marketing, logistics, and commercial teams, with a strong focus on the client service and sales operations
  • Drive team engagement and accountability - ensure that JoomPro’s values, working style, and processes are embedded in day-to-day operations
  • Maintain strong coordination between the Brazil office and HQ
  • Monitor local market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
  • Develop strategic partnerships that strengthen JoomPro’s position in the local ecosystem

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a local business or business unit within an international company
  • In-depth knowledge of the Brazilian market, supported by hands-on experience operating in the region at a managerial position
  • Strong leadership and team development skills (with teams of 20+ people)
  • Experience enforcing internal processes and client service standards
  • Business development and negotiations skills
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Based in Brazil or ready to relocate (São Paulo)
