Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) who can step into the CEO role in the near future. This is a strategic leadership position for an all-rounder who combines operational expertise with commercial strength. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, profitability, and growth while preparing to lead the organisation at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Oversee end-to-end operations across all freight forwarding services. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. Ensure compliance with global standards and local regulations.
• Commercial Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and market share. Build strong relationships with key clients and partners. Negotiate major contracts and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
• Strategic Vision & Succession: Work closely with the current CEO and global leadership team on long-term strategy. Prepare to transition into the CEO role by demonstrating leadership, vision, and execution capability.
• Financial Management: Manage regional P& L, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Monitor KPIs and deliver performance reports to the global board.
• Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire operational and commercial teams. Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession planning.

Experience

• 12+ years in senior leadership roles within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proven track record in operational management and commercial strategy.
• Experience in leading large-scale teams and driving transformation.

Education
