A landscape management company in São José do Rio Preto is looking for a Business Development Manager. The role involves driving growth by developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts. This position requires a strong B2B sales background along with excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of work experience. A valid driver's license is mandatory. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
This role works closely with Branch Managers and Account Managers to deliver tailored service portfolios that maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
Develop new business opportunities through cold-calling, market research, internal lead development, and networking
Partner with Branch Managers and Account Managers to design and present service portfolios that meet client needs
Prepare and deliver accurate job estimates and bid proposals, including scope of work, labor, and materials
Respond to client RFPs in a timely and professional manner
Attend pre-bid meetings, proposal presentations, trade shows, and industry association events
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and generate additional sales
Manage opportunities through Salesforce for full visibility of sales pipeline and activities
Facilitate smooth handoff from sales to operations by coordinating client introductions and site walkthroughs
Manage assigned sales promotions budget effectively
Meet or exceed annual sales targets
Participate in staff and sales meetings to align with company strategy
Perform other duties as assigned
Regularly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand, and walk
Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, crouching, climbing, and balancing
Frequent use of hands to handle tools, equipment, or office technology
Occasionally lift / move up to 25 lbs.
Work performed in both office and outdoor environments, in all weather conditions
Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and loud noise
