Overview
Azumo, a leading software development firm, is seeking a highly motivated Azure Microsoft Manager to join our technical leadership team. We specialize in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions, helping organizations build resilient and modern infrastructures powered by the Microsoft ecosystem. You will collaborate with engineers, developers, and security experts across SaaS, cloud, and big data environments. You will oversee the design and maintenance of solutions that ensure the availability and scalability of our services, translating business requirements into a robust, production-ready infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Research, design, and build production-grade infrastructure solutions utilizing Azure, M365, Fabric, and Power Platform.
- Lead the full project lifecycle: combining hands-on architectural guidance, planning, budgeting, implementation of best practices, containerization, and secure cloud deployment.
- Implement Azure DevOps pipelines for automated testing, monitoring, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Ensure security and regulatory compliance (GDPR, ISO) by collaborating closely with the Head of Security.
- Lead and mentor a team of technical specialists, managing their professional growth and performance evaluations.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs; prototype and iterate rapidly with stakeholders to enhance our technological capabilities.
- Own and define platform governance, including standards, access models, naming conventions, and environment strategies across Microsoft platforms.
- Drive cost management and optimization initiatives across Azure, M365, and related Microsoft services.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing and administering Microsoft infrastructure solutions (M365, Azure, Power Platform).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading and managing technical professionals.
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server, Azure AD, Networking, Cloud Security, and SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with automation and deployment tools: Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Microsoft Certifications (MCSE, Azure Solutions Architect, Power Platform, or DevOps Engineer).
- Proven experience implementing Microsoft Fabric in production environments.
- Deep understanding of governance frameworks and compliance standards (ITIL, ISO 27001).
