Overview

A Housekeeping Attendant will support all Housekeeping and Laundry with guest requests, analyzing each request and delegating between the team members, so that work can be done in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring an exceptional experience for our Guests. Location: Hilton Porto Alegre, Rua Olavo Barreto, Porto Alegre 90570-070.

What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will support all Housekeeping and Laundry team activities for day-to-day operations within the hotel. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry, as identified by the hotel brand standards
• Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork
• Provide excellent guest service
• Assist with the availability and release of Rooms for Guest Service together with Floor Housekeeping Supervision
• Manage the controls of the Housekeeping department, including: frequency of employees, release of master keys, incident logging, and input/output of uniforms and linen
• Check daily guest information in CRM and ensure that guest preferences and requests are met on time
• Coordinate special requests (flowers for occasions such as marriage, death, maternity, etc.) and provide embroidery for special linen (wedding and pampering)
• Maintain Lost and Found records, monthly donations
• Check uniforms and arrange cleaning or repair as needed
• Coordinate and control all traffic of documents and people within the department; release laundry linen daily
• Process daily guest clothing releases for guests using the laundry service
• Close monthly Laundry expenses and provisions
• Replaces a Laundry Attendant during holidays, days off, or absences
