Boeing Brazil is seeking Associate Hydraulic Installations Engineer, reporting to the Hydraulic Systems Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office.
The Associate Hydraulic Installations Engineer will work specifically with Hydraulic Installations, developing and releasing technical documentation (or schematics/designs) for hydraulic tubing for all aircraft models.
Develop system requirements and define system architecture.
Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Perform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
Develop, verify, validate, and certify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
Must have a degree in Engineering.
Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
Experience in aviation.
Experience working with integrated cross-functional teams.
Project management skills.
Relevant experience with installations design and release for mechanical systems.
Relevant experience with 3D modeling software and product data management software (CATIA, PDM or similar).
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.
Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil.
