The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day international freight operations while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, customers, vendors, and overseas agents. This role supports shipment execution ensuring high data quality, operational efficiency, and service reliability in alignment with company performance and profitability goals.
Responsabilidades e atribuições
- Deliver high-quality customer service through proactive, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with origin offices, overseas agents, and carriers to ensure timely collection of shipment data and documentation.
- Track and trace shipments, identify discrepancies, and communicate issues to Analysts or U.S.-based Customer Experience (CX) teams for resolution.
- Review, evaluate, and handle shipping documentation, including but not limited to:
- Shipping Instructions
- Booking Confirmations
- Master Bills of Lading (MBL)
- House Bills of Lading (HBL)
- Commercial Documents
- Invoices and supporting documents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment data within operational systems (e.g., WorldScope) to support reporting, billing, and Data Integrity Management (DIM).
- Assist with and respond to vendor, and internal requests within established service-level expectations.
- Provide direct operational support to Analysts and U.S.-based Customer Experience (CX) or Account Management teams.
- Proactively analyze shipments to identify and prevent potential issues, including incorrect routings, missing documentation, data integrity errors, or release delays.
- Escalate complex or non-standard issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
- Effectively manage daily workload, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time before close of business.
- Monitor and manage personal and shared mailboxes throughout the workday, prioritizing and actioning requests efficiently.
- Work independently after guidance or assistance, while balancing multiple tasks across systems, email, messaging platforms, and calls.
- Meet or exceed established productivity, quality, and KPI performance standards.
- Provide or assist in training as requested by leadership.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational objectives.
Requisitos e qualificações
- Knowledge of international freight forwarding and logistics operations (ocean and/or air).
- Ability to manage shipment documentation and operational data with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with shipment tracking, carrier communication, and issue resolution.
- Proficiency in logistics systems and operational tools, CargoWise experience preferred.
- English proficiency:
- Intermediate level required
- Advanced level preferred
