Job Title : Apps Architect

Location : Brazil (Remote)

Employment Type : Contract

Key Responsibilities :

• We are seeking an experienced Apps Architect with 13+ years of development and application modernization experience.
• Lead modernization of applications to Azure PaaS platforms, including migration and optimization.• Host and configure applications on IIS and Azure PaaS services such as App Service, Functions, AKS, and Container Instances.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration teams to ensure cloud adoption follows best practices.
• Guide and manage teams of 5+ members, providing technical leadership and governance.
• Analyze application architecture, dependencies, and integrations to design effective migration pathways.• Conduct application performance assessments pre- and post-migration.
• Design Azure Landing Zones and provide target state solution architecture aligned with business and infrastructure strategies.

Must Have Skills :

• 13+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Azure PaaS application hosting and modernization
• Hands-on web application development and hosting on Azure PaaS
• IIS hosting and configuration expertise
• Strong knowledge of Azure App Service, Azure Functions, AKS, and Container Instances
• Database connectivity and configuration skills
• Ability to containerize web applications and host them on Kubernetes
• Application migration scenarios and pathways expertise
• Team leadership and technical guidance experience
