About Us

We're a Boston-based real estate company seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional fluent in English to support our CFO with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and analysis. This remote role is based in Brazil and requires daily communication in English via Zoom and chat.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage QuickBooks invoices, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Categorize receipts and expenses; prepare monthly financial reports
• Maintain spreadsheets for rental and mortgage tracking
• Assist with budgets, financial models, and investor proposals
• Provide accurate financial data and support the CFO on accounting projects
• Manage compliance documentation by reviewing transaction files for accuracy and submitting documents for approval

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (or other accounting software and willingness to learn)
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets (or Excel and willingness to learn Google Sheets)
• Fluent English (written and spoken); all work and meetings are in English
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Reliable internet connection for Zoom and cloud systems
• Available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM Eastern (Boston time zone)

Compensation

Full-time, R$7,000 / month
Remote from Brazil

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
