Job summary
A logistics company in Dubai is seeking a Delivery Coordinator to manage the delivery of materials and samples. The role requires coordination with dispatch, vehicle monitoring, and cash collection from customers. Applicants must possess a valid UAE driving license, be at least 21 years old, and have a good driving record. This position is fulltime with no options for remote work.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid UAE driving License.
- Minimum of 21 years of age required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekly work schedules with dispatch coordinators.
- Pickup materials from suppliers based on purchase orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of samples to clients.
- Collect cash, cheques, and delivery notes from customers.
- Monitor vehicle conditions before and after shifts.
- Observe speed limits and maintain delivery schedules.
Skills
Education
- Taking into account the following: truck / Van condition orders suppliers stock road directions the numbers of customers to be visited the suitable time for visits.
- Coordinate the weekly work schedule with the Del & Dispatch coordinator. Pickup materials from the suppliers based on the schedule and the purchase order in coordination with the Dispatch and Delivery Coordinator.
- Handle the delivery of samples to clients depending of the delivery schedule.
- Ensuring collection of cash & cheques and other documents (delivery notes) from customers within the UAE and deliver to the account department to close the sales cycle.
- Monitor the truck/van at the beginning and end of each day including tires brakes seat belts oil and fuelling etc in order to protect the company vehicle.
- Observes speed limits and obeying all road signs. Maintains a timely schedule and complete all deliveries as planned.
Schooling degree valid UAE driving License. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and safe driving records.
