Job summary
A leading food technology company in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Stewarding Supervisor to join their production team. The ideal candidate will maintain hygiene and sanitation regulations, create cleaning schedules, and lead the stewarding team to ensure cleanliness in kitchen areas. Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of HACCP standards are required. This position calls for excellent communication skills and the ability to train and support new staff members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a stewarding supervisor or in a similar role.
- Ability to meet HACCP standards in the kitchen.
- Clear communication skills with a friendly personality.
Responsibilities
- Uphold all hygiene and sanitation regulations in kitchen areas.
- Create cleaning schedules and supervise the stewarding team.
- Ensure compliance with kitchen cleaning standards and proper equipment usage.

- Strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitation regulations ensuring that all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas are clean and in good working order.
- Help create cleaning schedules for the team and be the main point of contact.
- Ensure all stewarding team members arrive for their scheduled shift punctually and in clean uniforms.
- Managing the stewarding team and maintaining cleanliness be sure to report any deficiencies.
- Ensuring that the right cleaning tools and chemicals are used in the kitchen facility at all times.
- Lead and supervise the stewarding team in all aspects and ensure standards are followed.
- Conduct training and assists with diagrams log sheets & documentations.
- Previous experience as a stewarding supervisor or similar role.
- Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen areas including machinery and kitchen tools
- Ability to lead stewarding team and ensure all standards and regulations are met.
- Familiar with Chemical dilution systems like TDS (Training data sheets) & MSDS (Material safety data sheets).
- Maintains the HACCP standards in and around the kitchen.
- Clear communication skills with a friendly personality.
- Able to train new members of the staff and retrain when necessary.
- Wellorganized and detailoriented.
