A leading zoo organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Security Supervisor responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and staff. The role includes monitoring security operations, preparing duty rosters, and resolving conflicts. Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in security management. Strong leadership, communication skills, and familiarity with security systems are essential. The position offers opportunities to develop safety plans and assist with emergency situations.
Security supervisor monitors his staff by patrolling with them. The supervisor is also responsible for monitoring the electronic surveillance equipment used on the premises. The supervisor works with staff to develop safety plans for the buildings he monitors. Securitysupervisor also ensure the safety of people on their employers premises.
Responsibilities to have best interest in taking full care and protection of lives & property of organization at the peak.
Maintain the highest level of the Guest care at all the time by taking ownership of every complaint & request from the Guest resolve them correctly and promptly.
Assists the manager in the planning coordinating and directing security and safety programs to include loss prevention Parking/traffic control patrolling of physical property
Conducts follow up investigation of report of criminal activities and violations of safety stander.
Accurately investigate all the incidents in the property and make all the reports accordingly and give feedback to Manager of Security.
Investigate the lost and found issues and review the incident reports and give the final report to Security Manager.
Monitor security officers to enforce security/safety programs that enable the company s assets to function according to the guidelines quality standards and operating objectives of the company.
Liaising with the emergency services police ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and service.
Identify unsafe acts conditions and hazards; check that Emergency Exits are always clear.
Plays a key role during the Fire drill exercise.
Preparing duty roster time sheet and follow up.
Resolving the conflicts between the security staff.
Comply with governmental legislations in terms of trainings and license.
Follows emergency procedures to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees.
Works in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others.
Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions and notifies the Security Manager.
Responsible for security duties in absence of Security Manager.
Communicates effectively with guests colleagues and superiors.
Handles difficult situations effectively.
Attends meetings and training required by management.
Accepts flexible planned work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Zoo guests.
Continuously seeks to endeavor professionalism in own job function.
Education: High School Diploma preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in security facility management or a similar supervisory role.
