Job description

As we prepare to open our doors were seeking a Steward Supervisor who will play a key role in keeping our heart of house immaculate efficient and ready to support unforgettable guest experiences.

This role is essential to ensuring cleanliness organisation and the smooth functioning of all back-of-house areas supporting the culinary team and upholding the operational excellence that defines our mountain escape.

Stewarding Operations & Supervision
  • Supervise daily stewarding activities ensuring all kitchen and back-of-house areas are clean sanitised and well-maintained.
  • Lead train and support a team of stewards providing guidance motivation and hands‑on assistance.
  • Monitor dishwashing operations cleanliness standards and equipment functionality.
  • Ensure that cleaning schedules and task assignments are followed consistently.
Inventory & Resource Management
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies chemicals and stewarding equipment.
  • Oversee proper storage handling and rotation of cleaning materials.
  • Coordinate with the culinary and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Health Safety & Hygiene Compliance
  • Ensure all stewarding practices comply with hygiene sanitation and HACCP standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations across all back‑of‑house areas.
  • Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and safety benchmarks.
Collaboration & Support
  • Work closely with the Culinary Engineering and Food & Beverage teams to support their operational needs.
  • Assist with banquet setup equipment movements and special event preparations where required.
  • Communicate openly with department leaders to ensure efficient workflow and timely task completion.
Team Development & Leadership
  • Train new stewards on cleaning techniques safety standards and equipment use.
  • Support a positive respectful and team‑oriented working environment.
  • Lead by example through professionalism integrity and hands‑on involvement.
