We are seeking a creative detail-oriented and deadline-driven Blog Writer to join our content team. The ideal candidate has a passion for writing a strong grasp of SEO best practices and the ability to create engaging informative blog posts that align with our brand voice and strategic goals. You will be responsible for producing high-quality content that attracts educates and converts our target audience.

• Research pitch and write original blog articles tailored to our target audience and content strategy.

• Collaborate with marketing SEO and product teams to align blog content with brand messaging campaigns and keywords.

• Optimize content for search engines using SEO techniques (e.g. keyword research internal linking meta descriptions).

• Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity grammar and accuracy before publication.

• Follow editorial calendar deadlines and manage multiple blog assignments simultaneously.

• Stay updated on industry trends competitor blogs and content performance metrics.

• Incorporate feedback from editors and stakeholders to improve writing style and effectiveness.

• Use content management systems (e.g. WordPress) to draft and format blog posts.

• Occasionally repurpose blog content for use in newsletters social media or ebooks.

• 13 years of experience in content writing blogging journalism or related fields.

• Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of content marketing principles and SEO best practices.

• Portfolio of published blog posts or writing samples.

• Ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences and industries.

• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.

• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics Ahrefs SurferSEO or Grammarly is a plus.

• Bachelors degree in English Journalism Communications Marketing or related field preferred.
