Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Lifting Foreman in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will plan and supervise lifting activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations in the oil and gas industry. - Plan, organize and supervise all lifting activities within the company.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures during lifting operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures.
- Coordinate with project managers and other departments to schedule lifting operations.
- Inspect and maintain all lifting equipment and ensure they are in good working condition.
- Train and supervise a team of lifting operators to ensure safe and efficient execution of lifting activities.
- Monitor and report on the progress of lifting operations to project managers.
- Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain lifting records, including inspection reports, maintenance logs, and lifting plans.
- Identify and implement improvements to lifting procedures to increase efficiency and safety.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lifting Foreman in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and supervising lifting operations.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations related to lifting operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Valid lifting and rigging certifications.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficient in using lifting equipment and tools.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
