Apt Resources is seeking a dedicated and experienced Youngstock Foreman to join a leading dairy farm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the care and development of young cattle, ensuring that they receive excellent nutrition, health care, and management. Your leadership will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall productivity and health of the dairy herd.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily care and management of all calves and heifers.
  • Monitor feeding, housing, and health conditions to ensure optimal growth and welfare.
  • Oversee colostrum management, calf nutrition, and weaning programs.
  • Identify and treat common calf health issues in coordination with the farm veterinarian.
  • Maintain accurate records of births, vaccinations, growth rates, and treatments.
  • Manage and train farm staff assigned to youngstock operations.
  • Ensure biosecurity and hygiene standards are consistently followed.
  • Report performance data and health trends to the farm manager.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in dairy or livestock operations, preferably focused on calves or youngstock.
  • Strong understanding of calf rearing, nutrition, and health management.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with herd management software is an advantage.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a farm environment.
  • Commitment to animal welfare and cleanliness.

Salary: AED 3,600 plus accommodation and all other benefits as per UAE Labor Law.
