Job summary

An international engineering group in the UAE is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector to perform welding inspections on critical piping and ensure compliance with project specifications. Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in welding inspection, particularly in power plant or refinery environments, and be familiar with alloy steels like P91. This position offers a contract of approximately 15 months and is site-based.

Qualifications

• 7+ years welding inspection experience on power plant/refinery projects.
• Proven experience with alloy steels (P91) is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding inspections on pressure parts and critical piping.
• Verify WPS/PQR and welder qualifications, including for P91 materials.
• Monitor welding, repair, PWHT and NDT activities.
• Maintain traceability and ensure full compliance with codes and project specs.
