Job Summary

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Welder is to provide quality welding services as needed. This includes reading blueprints/drawings, preparing metal surfaces for welding, aligning metal parts accurately, welding components with gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) or gas metal arc welding (GMAW), inspecting welded components for accuracy and ensuring that all welds meet safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in welding
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings
• Expertise in using GTAW or GMAW
• Attention to detail with excellent accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly; must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
