As Warehouse Operations Engineer in Daikin Middle East & Africa, you will play a key role in optimizing the goods & information flows. This role involves overseeing daily operations of the regional warehouse, and leading continuous improvement initiatives of systems and processes across MEA facilities via collaborating with other departments to meet business targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Regional Warehouse Operations Management: Overseeing daily operations of warehouse facilities, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently. Analyzing material flows for efficient storage and truck management procedures.
- Regional Warehouse Operations Management: Monitoring and analyzing warehouse performance KPIs, leading continuous reliability and improvement of warehouse operations in line with service and cost targets.
- Regional Warehouse Operations Management: Monitoring supplier ongoing performance, running monthly KPI meetings for capacity and performance.
- Regional Warehouse Operations Management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems & technologies.
- Regional Warehouse Operations Management: Monitoring inventory levels to minimize excess & obsolete stock, executing regular scrapping.
- Regional Warehouse Operations Management: Coordinating Annual Wall-to-Wall and Monthly Cycle Counting, implementing structural actions.
- Regional Warehouse Operations Management: Monthly review of Logistics spend, root-cause analysis and action planning.
- Regional Warehouse Operations Management: Ensuring compliance policies, running regular internal audits & health checks.
- MEA Warehouse Capacity Management: Leading Capacity Planning process with SC, Sales, Logistics Service Providers to forecast, design and implement capacity requirements for inbound and outbound logistics, across MENA Warehouses for short term peak management and long-term business needs.
- MEA Warehouse Capacity Management: Tender Master Plan management across warehouses with Logistics and Procurement.
- MEA Net Structural Saving Projects: Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs by synchronizing end-to-end information and product flow with Planning, Logistics and CS teams.
Requirements
- Experience & Knowledge: Minimum 3+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
- Experience & Knowledge: Experience with ERPs, warehouse management systems, good knowledge of Excel and Power BI.
- Experience & Knowledge: Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience & Knowledge: Multinational company experience is an advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business/Statistics or related field of study.
