Job Overview
As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and ensuring the efficient coordination of all activities related to logistics, transportation, and customer services. You will manage a team to ensure timely order fulfillment, effective inventory management, and compliance with quality standards. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, team development, and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and coordinate warehouse activities, transportation, and customer services to optimize operational performance.
- Monitor and control logistics activities to maximize on-time (in full) order fulfillment and productivity, adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Develop and execute departmental activities within budget and timeline constraints.
- Ensure effective inventory management, maintaining product quality, storage conditions, stock rotation, and avoiding contamination, damaged, and expired products.
- Implement a robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) process to resolve process deviations or customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and ISO standards.
- Oversee operational control through the establishment and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Foster a team-oriented environment, generating a strong sense of collaboration among staff and colleagues.
- Supervise, coach, and train warehouse personnel to enhance performance and skills.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with divisional colleagues, customers, and Principals, providing guidance on pharmaceutical care, warehouse procedures, and quality standards.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing operational discussions.
- Support the Head of Logistics in various projects, initiatives, and cross-divisional collaborations.
- Lead by example with high standards of leadership, focusing on continuous improvement in business operations, processes, and team performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse management, logistics, or operations,
- At least 3 years in as a Warehouse managerial role supporting pharmacy Operations.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and quality control.
- Experience with ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and CAPA management.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within tight deadlines.
