Job description
Job Purpose

At Engineering Warehouse & Logistics (EWL), we ensure Emirates Maintenance teams have timely and accurate access to spares and tools. Our comprehensive services cover receiving, stocking, issuing, and delivering essential components.

Integral to the broader Supply Chain, EWL expertly manages the Warehouse & Logistics functions for Emirates Airline’s aircraft materials and tools. Rely on us for efficient, reliable support that keeps your maintenance operations running smoothly.

Role

As a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator, you will monitor and/or execute Warehouse & Logistics activities and coordinate with the Emirates Warehouse & Logistics customers to ensure tools & material/logistics support is provided timely, efficiently and safely as per the standard operating procedures.

In this role you will
  • Perform the daily operational tasks of assigned functional area, i.e., Goods Inwards, Main Stores, Sub Stores, Tool Stores, Line Maintenance Stores, Outstation Support, Business Support and Spares Distribution as per the assignment. Include but not limited to tools and materials receiving, discrepancy reporting, archiving airworthiness release certificates/documents, tools check-in/out and customer support tasks related to entrusted third-party stock.
  • Coordinate the Warehouse & Logistics activities assigned by the Shift Duty Officer with the Warehouse & Logistics Assistants/customers, monitor the task accomplishment and carry out system transactions to ensure customer demands are fulfilled on-time.
  • Communicate internally in relation to the execution of warehouse & logistics tasks to ensure smooth flow of material in the Supply Chain from goods receiving, binning through demand fulfilment to abide by the respective service level agreements at each process step.
  • Ensure safety regulations and practices laid down by the organisation are fully complied at all times by the respective staff being coordinated in order to avoid any safety incidents or procedural non-compliance.
  • Support Shift Duty Officer in preparing daily reports related to the performance, monitoring KPIs for dynamic shifting of resources to optimise the resource utilisation/productivity of the operation.
  • Deputise the Shift Duty Officer as required and act as the focal of specific Warehouses/Functions as per the assignment (As described in No. 1 above) to make sure objectives and performance measures of those areas are met at all times.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years in Engineering
  • Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent)
  • Experience in Warehouse and logistics experience, preferably in an Aviation/MRO environment with minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse and logistics operation in coordinating teams.
  • Sound knowledge in office applications/systems and warehouse/inventory/ERP systems. Valid UAE driver?s licence/Airside Driving Permit (ADP) would be an added advantage.
