A leading financial services platform is seeking a Vice President & Head of Business Operations for KSA and ME. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in business operations, fintech, and leading cross-functional teams, particularly in the MENA region. This role is pivotal in driving the company's expansion in high-opportunity markets and requires strong leadership capabilities and a robust understanding of the regional landscape.
Paytm is India’s leading financial services platform offering full-stack payments, financial and commerce solutions to over 300 million users and 20 million merchants. As we embark on our next phase of global growth we are expanding our presence into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and broader Middle East (ME) markets with a sharp focus on digital payments, fintech solutions and merchant services.
We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned leader to head our Business Operations for the KSA and Middle East markets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong operational mindset, deep regional understanding and cross‑functional leadership capabilities to build and scale Paytm's operations across these high‑growth geographies.
Business Expansion & Launch Operations: Lead end-to-end operational setup for KSA and ME markets, including licensing, compliance, infrastructure and onboarding partners. Liaise with regulatory bodies, local financial institutions and ecosystem enablers. Drive market entry execution in sync with product, legal, finance and strategy teams.
Cross-functional Execution: Collaborate with Product, Tech, Risk, Legal and Compliance teams to ensure seamless localisation and deployment of Paytm’s platform. Lead internal readiness and go‑to‑market planning with Sales, BD and Marketing teams.
People & Partner Leadership: Hire, build and mentor high‑performing regional teams across operations, customer support and compliance. Forge strong working relationships with local vendors, banking partners, PSPs and government agencies.
Regional Strategy & Governance: Define and implement operational strategy, KPIs and governance frameworks for the region. Build scalable processes for merchant onboarding, risk, transaction monitoring and customer lifecycle management.
Operational Excellence & Growth Enablement: Drive operational efficiency, cost optimisation and automation across customer and merchant journeys. Monitor key metrics such as activation rate, transactions, revenue and resolution SLAs.
