Hybrid UX & Graphic Designer (Blockchain/Fintech)

Location: Remote – Global (Preference for candidates based in Europe)

Compensation: $150K - $180K

We are seeking a versatile and strategic Hybrid UX and Graphic Designer to transform complex crypto products into professional, intuitive, and visually compelling experiences. Our platform, which includes a groundbreaking Virtual Machine and a new programming language, focuses on unparalleled throughput, decentralization, and security, simplifying the development process for builders worldwide. This role is responsible for design across product development, marketing, and community engagement. You will create end-to-end user experiences for professional traders, develop high-impact visual assets for marketing campaigns, and ensure a cohesive, high-standard visual identity for the platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of trading mechanics and user interfaces, translating this knowledge into precise and effective design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on user interfaces for decentralized trading and DeFi platforms, prioritizing intuition and visual clarity.
• Produce high-quality visual content, graphics, and digital assets for targeted marketing campaigns aimed at crypto and financial audiences.
• Partner closely with development, product management, and marketing teams to define and govern the platform’s visual and interactive identity.
• Conduct focused user research with experienced traders to optimize UX flows and streamline complex platform interactions.
• Develop high-fidelity design prototypes using industry-standard tools like Figma, emphasizing performance and usability.
• Establish and maintain a consistent design language across all platforms, including web, mobile, and external community channels.
• Generate innovative and culturally relevant visual concepts, including static graphics and motion assets, to enhance brand recognition within the crypto ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Experienced designer with strong foundation in both UX/UI and visual brand execution, particularly within financial or technology markets.
• Direct experience with or strong intuitive understanding of crypto, capital markets, or active trading, with ability to discern effective trading interface design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative problem-solving and the development of original, impactful visual concepts.
• Demonstrated success with design and content creation specifically targeting crypto or financial technology audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in UX/UI design tools, e.g., Figma, and mastery of responsive design principles and comprehensive design systems.
• Proven ability to execute brand strategy through compelling visual campaigns, professional web design, and motion graphics.
• Commitment to design from first principles, challenging existing conventions to deliver optimal solutions.
• Experience in the design of professional-grade dashboards, trading UIs, or analytics software (bonus).
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols, Web3 paradigms, and related design standards.
• Working knowledge of basic front-end technologies, e.g., HTML/CSS, React.
• Established active presence within professional crypto communities or relevant design networks.
